ELECTRODES (CONDUCTIVE
LEVEL RELAYS)
General Description
The KSR rod electrodes are electrically conductive rods which can be used
for monitoring and controlling liquid levels.
The KSR rod electrodes work in conjunction with the KSR
electrode relays on the conductive measurement process and can be used
for monitoring and controlling the level of electrically conductive fluids
e.g. water, alkalis or acids.
The KSR electrode relays generate an alternating measuring voltage for
electrodes and react to the small alternating current flowing at electrodes
after contact with the product. The switching amplifiers are stabilised
for voltage and temperature and guarantee a distinct switching process.
An electronic holding contact allows minimum/maximum control. Since the
conductivity of the liquids can differ considerably, the response sensitivity
of the relays is adjustable. The particular switching signals can be fed
to contactor circuits or other analysis circuits through the relay outputs.
Use
Electrode control can be used in electrically conductive fluids such as
e.g. water, effluent, alkalis, acids, fruit juices, beer, milk etc.
